General characteristics of the form:

Heading and notes:	No form number and four formats in side printing.
Message area:	Blank.
Reverse side:	Blank.
Colours (text & form):	A to C: Blue sides on yellow. D: Green on yellow.
Size of form overall:	214 mm. wide.

Distinctive characteristics of the form:

all printings were almost identical in format until 1971 when the form number was changed and the schedule number was reduced in size;
colours varied from dull yellow paper to light yellow and dark green printing to light green - the variations being positively related (i.e. dark with dark);
the main distinctions amongst the varieties are:
12A: the schedule number is centered on the form;
12B: form number is T.G. 42 and schedule number are underneath TELEGRAM;
12C: form number changed to T.X. 42 and schedule number starts with "O/N...".

Characteristics:
Printed in pale green on light yellow paper.
Most of the 1972 printing was printed in the
usual mid to dark green colour
and on the usual yellow paper.
The pale green variety was possibly a single printing.
