Overview - International transmission forms

There were nine formats for transmission forms issued by the relevant Australian telegraph Authority.

IAB-TC-1. Heading is CABLEGRAM. No Form number. Has printed VIA EASTERN next to address of receiver.
IAB-TC-2. Heading is CABLEGRAM. Form number is E.T. No. 7.
IAB-TC-3. Heading is CABLEGRAM OR RADIOGRAM. Form number is E.T. No. 7.
IAB-TT-4. Heading is INTERNATIONAL TELEGRAM (By Radio or Cable). Form number changed to T.G. 47.
IAB-TT-5. Heading is International Telegram (By Cable or Radio). Authority is Postmaster-General's Department. Form number is T.G. 47.
IAA-TT-6. Heading is OVERSEAS TELEGRAM. Authority is either Post Office Communications Australia or Australian Post Office. Form number is T.G. 47.
IAA-TT-7. Form number is T.G. 47 printed in the blue box below TELEGRAM. Authority is AUSTRALIAN POST OFFICE. Heading is OVERSEAS TELEGRAM reverse printed.
IAA-TT-8. Form number changed to TX 47 and printed in the top right corner. Authority is AUSTRALIAN POST OFFICE. Heading is OVERSEAS TELEGRAM reverse printed.
IAT-TT-9. Authority changed to TELECOM AUSTRALIA. Heading is OVERSEAS TELEGRAM on the first three versions. Form number is TX 47.
