All Interim forms had the heading COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA and a reference to South Australia.
Transmission forms (ordinary rate).
One format for ordinary rate transmission forms was issued by South Australia during the Interim period - although a second format, which is a variation on the first, is presumed to exist.
SI-TO-1:
Heading is the standard Interim period format. Blank boxes at either end of the row for affixing stamps. Form number is E. T. No. 2. Printed in black on white paper. |

Transmission form (urgent rate).
SI-TU-1: Heading has URGENT TELEGRAM under the standard Interim period format. Has 8 boxes in the heading for stamps and the end two boxes are empty. Form number is E.T. No. 4. Printed in black on salmon coloured paper. |
Delivery forms (ordinary rate).
Five formats were used for the ordinary rate delivery forms during this short period in South Australia although there were a number of variations within each format.
SI-DO-1:
Heading is Printed in black on white paper. |

Heading is the same as for SI-DO-1. Printed in red on yellow paper. |

SI-DO-3.
Heading changed to replace Post Office Telegraphs with standard 2 line Interim period heading. Form number is now E.T.1. Printed in red on yellow paper.

Heading is the standard Interim period 2 line format. TELEGRAM is not included. Has two vertical lines of text at left. Printed in blue on cream paper. |

Has TELEGRAM in 4 mm high letters above the standard Interim period 2 line heading. The schedule number is in the lower left corner. Printed in blue on white paper. |

Has TELEGRAM in 3 mm high letters above the standard Interim period 2 line heading. The schedule number is below the date stamp box. Printed in black or blue on white paper. |

Two line standard Interim heading with no TELEGRAM. Form number E.T. No. 10. Boxes on either side of Address details. Message area is boxed. |

Two line standard Interim heading with no TELEGRAM. Message area is plain and occupies about 66% of the form. Date Stamp box is smaller. |
SI-EU-1.
Printed in black on orange paper. Has SOUTH AUSTRALIA spanning the crest. No reference to URGENT but almost certainly served that purpose because of the colour of the paper.
