COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA is now more prominent than New South Wales;
some printings have a large S near the form number in the top left. This was printed for forms to be used in offices where the message was a terminating ordinary rate telegram to be forwarded to a final destination;
the main distinctions between varieties are:
4A: no large S printed on the form and no entry for Time in the lower left corner;
4B: no large S printed on the form but two lines for Time in the lower left corner;
4C: large S printed on the form.

Distinctive characteristics of this form:

centre line "Received..." ends with "message";
line above sender details ends with "Tasmania".

Characteristics:

no "S" on form;
has stores number St. 3477 under the form number;
one arc after schedule number.

NI-DO-4C.

Sydney to Henty
(6 October 1908 at Wagga Wagga).

Characteristics:

has large S near form number on top left;
one arc after schedule number.

The telegram from Sydney was terminating at Wagga Wagga and was then to be posted to Henty (south of Wagga Wagga). The form used was therefore the one marked "S".
