All Interim forms had the heading COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA and a reference to Tasmania.
Transmission forms (ordinary rate).
Four formats for ordinary rate transmission forms were issued by Tasmania during the Interim period:
TI-TO-1.
Printed in black on blue paper. Heading is COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA above POST OFFICE TELEGRAPHS to left of the changed Crest with STATE OF TASMANIA to the right. Box with a pointing hand folowed by five boxes for affixing stamps and a date stamp box. |

TI-TO-2.
Blank boxes at either end of the row for affixing stamps. |

First box in Stamps row has a pointing hand. Last box in this row has heading Date Stamp. |

TI-TO-4.
Boxes at either end of row for affixing stamps contain Telegraph Charges and Date Stamp respectively. |
Delivery forms (ordinary rate).
TI-DO-1.
Has COMMONWEALTH ... heading added above the crest and the Colonial POST OFFICE TELEGRAPHS. Same form as used in Colonial period with heading in gothic script. Printed in black ink on white paper.

TI-DO-2.
Has usual 2-line COMMONWEALTH heading. No TELEGRAM in heading. Printed in red on light yellow paper. |

TI-DO-3.
Has usual 2-line Commonwealth heading. Later printings include TELEGRAM at top. Two vertical lines of text at left. Printed in blue ink on light yellow paper. |

TI-DO-4.
Same format as for type 3 above but printed in black on light yellow to white paper.

URGENT TELEGRAM in one line. Second line of the heading has the same size font as the first line and so extends to almost the same length as the third line (URGENT TELEGRAM). |

TI-DU-2.
URGENT TELEGRAM in one line. Second line of the heading has much smaller font than the first line and so is much shorter in length than the third line (URGENT TELEGRAM). |

TI-DU-3.
TELEGRAM above C of A heading with URGENT below. URGENT is in serif font. Three entries under heading for "Station from, No of Words and Check". |

TI-DU-4.
TELEGRAM above C of A heading with URGENT below. URGENT is in sans-serif font. Four entries under heading for "Station from, No of Words, Amount and Time Lodged". Second line of vertical text has only three words. |
TI-RO-1.
Has box at left for "No. of Words...etc". Has centre section for Sending Station and addressee. |

TI-MO-1.
Has standard interim heading. Has the printed name of the Money Order office from which funds were sent. |
Interim period form for a receipt of payment for a telegram. Complete - perhaps the only example still surviving. An example of its use is the amazing stamped piece from Zeehan. |
