Especially from about the mid-1880s, a variety of date stamps were used which had a reference in some way to the TELEGRAPH.

- Post & Telegraph Department (RO7 - P&TD): Broome (about 1923).
- Telegraph Office Keeper (SC1-TOK): Porphyry/West Aust.
- Telegraph Section (RO2-TS) : Gosnels - only one example known (year not known).
- Post & Telegraph (RO6-P&T) :Yerilla 1899.
